1974 Arrived in Auckland, New Zealand, spent first few nights at the Meadowpark caravan site in Papatoetoe, then moved into a flat in Wallace Road, Papatoetoe. Started work for Clarks Shoes in Papatoetoe. Bought a house at 19 Arnwood Street, Manurewa Christmas went for a holiday to England with Marion going via Los Angeles. Did the usual tourist things, Disneyland, Knots Berry Farm and Universal Studios. When I arrived at Mum & Dads house in Devon, "I-Won-Der", I could not get over how small it was after the homes in Australia and New Zealand.
