Father's Family
Gus my Father came from a family of 4 children who were born in Devon and South Wales where my Grandfather was a coal miner and was blinded in a pit accidentand. They were brought up in a house in 5 Lower Meddon Street, Bideford in North Devon England. Dads full name was Augustus Christmas George and he was awarded an MBE Medal during the Second World War.
